Don Agustín Rivas Vásquez
Don Agustín Rivas Vásquez is famous in Europe and he is internationally known as one of the highest respected, renowned Shaman and Curandero/ Medicine Man / Ayahuasquero in South America and he is among the best in the world.
He is 83 years old, born August 28, 1933 in a small remote jungle village called Tamshiyacu, district of Fernando Lores, Providence of Maynas Loreto, off the shores of the Amazon River. Tamshiyacu is about an hour and 10 minutes speed boat drive in the Amazon River to Iquitos River Port.
Don Agustín Rivas Vásquez is a strong and a very powerful Shaman and Curandero. The people from Europe loves him and many of them travelled from Germany and Austria to Perú, to see him for healing treatment in his jungle camp, Yushintaita. Not only Europe also people from the USA travel to Perú to see him too.
Don Agustín Rivas Vásquez Healing Work
Don Agustín has been doing healing work for 40 years. He has treated many people local and foreigners from all social classes for various illness and many have been healed with Sacred Ayahuasca Ceremonies and Natural Plant Medicine from the Amazon jungle. Just to name some of the illnesses that he treats are Drug Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Cancer, Liver Cancer, Tumors, MS, Psoriasis, Menorrhagia and many more. Even up to today, many locals, foreigners, including foreign dignitaries, the ordinary, the poor, the rich, royal families and those from high social establishment seek him for healing in cases that were diagnosed incurable by modern western doctors and medicine.
His Internationally Travels
He has travelled internationally 19 times to perform healing work, conducting Workshops in Peruvian Amazon Shamanism and attending to Shamanism conferences in Europe – Germany, Austria, Italy, UK, USA and México. Most of the time his Healing Trips are to Germany and Austria (about 14 times).
There are German documentaries and interviews on him, including books in English, German and Spanish. In one of the German Documentaries, there was a Film crew who went along with a group of people from Germany to Perú at his camp, Yushintaita. One woman was treated for liver cancer and she was healed as tests revealed a year later after her trip.
Recently, he was featured in an Argentina movie (a co-production Argentina-Peruana-Italiana movie) PlantaMadre, as Maestro Curandero Agustín Rivas Vásquez.
