Coronavirus and Microbial Disinfectant

Hypochlorous Acid Spray (HOCL) is the leading natural topical skin oxidative spray product against bacteria and viruses by fighting infection and reducing inflammation. HOCL tests have not been done as yet on COVID-19, however, there is reasonable evidence that HOCL Spray will be effective in treating COVID-19.
The first coronavirus study was done on MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome). The virus was sprayed on a work surface, the computer monitor, desk top, the key board next to it with the typical 70% alcohol base disinfectant as recommended. The RT-PCR Test showed a weak positive and was converted to negative after diluted sodium chlorite was used to wipe the contaminated area. The same test was done with the HOCL Spray and it was 100% effective on coronavirus MERS-CoV, thus the recommended alcohol base disinfectant was a failure.
In the spring of 2016, the University of Washington School of Public Health conducted a test on BrioHOCL. After 10 minutes exposure the BrioHOCL was found to be 99.9999% effective against the Coronavirus OC43 (CoV).
BrioHOCL Spray is a powerful microbial disinfectant (superior to chlorhexidine and iodine) and is the world’s first safe disinfectant against all infections prions. Prions are infectious pathogens in the brain, misfolded proteins (thought to contribute to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases) that cause many neurological diseases in animals and in humans, e.g. mad-cow disease (BSE) and Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) in humans. A study was published in the medical journal PLOS Patogens, establishing that Briotech’s HOCL formula “eliminated all detectable prion-seeding activity” in the brain tissue of humans. Prions are notoriously difficult to inactivate and standard microbial disinfection protocols are often inadequate.
What makes BrioHOCl so unique and promising is that prions are practically impossible to eliminate by heat, radiation or harsh chemical decontaminants. On the other hand, BrioTech HOCL, a weak acid form of bleach formula is able to eliminate all detectable prions.
